Land off Water Lane is a sustainable site located to the south of Melbourn, benefitting from the proximity to Meldreth Station, which provides great connectivity to both London and Cambridge.
The village of Melbourn has a number of local amenities including shops, schools and NHS facilities, and is just a stone’s throw from the nearby town of Royston.
The site has no environmental constraints that would prevent it from being brought forward for future housing.
The site is available and could deliver much needed homes through the housing allocation in the new Local Plan which would make a significant contribution towards housing provision in this part of the District.
